TMG Recognized for Outstanding Contributions to the CU Industry & Local Community

(Des Moines, Iowa – November 2, 2009) – Employees at Des Moines-based TMG (The Members Group) are celebrating their win of a prestigious industry award this week. Selected by the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) as Supplier of the Year, TMG was recognized for its contributions to what is commonly called the “credit union movement.”

Founded by the Iowa Credit Union League in 1986, TMG is a Credit Unions Service Organization (CUSO) that provides financial services – including credit and debit card processing, fraud protection, consulting services for card portfolios and prepaid card solutions – to hundreds of credit unions across the U.S.
The CUES Supplier of the Year award is an honor given to firms who have made significant contributions to the credit union industry. Winning firms are chosen based on their achievements within the market, the benefits of their products and services to the credit union movement and their role in the local community.
TMG executives are extensively involved in the credit union industry, serving on boards, developing new products and services and researching approaches to building a stronger environment for credit unions. The firm also supports a long list of civic and community affairs both on a local and national level, including the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, the Drive for Hope and Children and Families of Iowa.
The CUES Board of Directors cited TMG’s extensive history within the credit union market, its employees’ commitment to improving their home-base community and their dedication to offering products and services to help credit unions better serve their members as reasons for its selection.
