TMG Rolls Out Speaker Roster for 2010 Client Conference

(Des Moines, Iowa – March 2, 2010) –TMG (The Members Group) releases its 2010 Client Conference agenda aimed at following this year’s event theme: Future. Growth. Now. The agenda is composed of presentations tailored to TMG’s client base of financial institutions (FI) interested in enhancing their credit, debit and prepaid card programs.
The conference, scheduled for June 14 – 16, 2010, at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, will kick off with a golf event and opening reception at the Red Rock Resort Monday.
Tuesday morning will start with the conference keynote speaker, Peter Duffy of Sandler O’Neill and Partners. Duffy will give a two-hour presentation on the dramatic shift in the financial services landscape. He plans to share up-to-date research and analysis to provide clarity to the competitive issues facing all community based FI’s.
Duffy will be followed by TMG’s new-product rollout, during which the card services firm will present both on-deck innovations and those to be introduced in the near future.
Philippe Benitiez of Gemalto will be one of the speakers to round out Tuesday with a presentation on Chip-and-PIN payments and value-added services that can increase card use and retention.
Erin McCune of Glenbrook Partners is Wednesday’s opening speaker. McCune will cover alternative payments, detailing how new technologies and innovative FIs are changing the way consumers and businesses interact.
As the conference closing speaker, Futurist Bob Treadway will give insight to trends and forces that will shape financial services and the credit union movement over the next five to seven years. A closing reception will be held Wednesday evening.
