TMG White Papers Bring Home ‘Best in Show’ Honors
(Des Moines, Iowa – May 20, 2010) – The Members Group (TMG) was recently recognized by the Iowa chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA Iowa) for excellence in marketing with two NOVA Awards, including Best of Category in Marketing Collateral and overall Best in Show.
The award recognized TMG’s 2010 quarterly white papers, written to showcase the payments-industry expertise of various TMG executives. The company surpassed its white paper download goals by nearly 300 percent and tripled the number of client prospects it had hoped to earn as a result.
“Campaign results were triple-weighted in the judging of this year’s awards,” said Georgann Smith, TMG director of marketing and communications. “The emphasis on outcomes made this an ideal competition for TMG because we deliver the kind of communication that inspires clients and prospects to act.”
The NOVA award gave credit to Smith and two members of her team, Tana Krumm and Sarah Barthole, as well as to public relations consulting firm Kelly Moore Consulting, Inc.
Established by AMA Iowa, the NOVA Awards recognize quality marketing programs that achieve great results. Competitors for the awards range from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. The competition is held annually each spring.
